Last week, I spread the good word about Sea Forager, a community-supported fisheries company that has been a balm for me the past year. Besides the high quality of the fish and seafood it delivers, a major part of why I love it is because I know where every fillet comes from, who catches it, and how they do it. After reading that newsletter and watching the Netflix documentary, “Seaspiracy,” a reader came to me with some legitimate concerns about the ethics of eating fish at all. Here’s the question:

Over the weekend X’s fifteen children flew to the hospital to be by his side and footage from his ex-wife wife, Tashera Simmons, was shared on social media showing crowds of people praying and playing his music outside the hospital on Saturday (April 4th).

Former All Black Ali Williams has flown to the rescue of a beached whale after spotting it from a helicopter over the Easter break.
The World Cup winner was travelling by helicopter with ZURU founder Nick Mowbray when the pair spotted the stranded animal on the beach at Mangawhai, north of Auckland.
Mowbray told the Herald they were returning from the Bay of Islands when they saw the whale.

Vanderbilt hospital road renamed for Black surgery pioneer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) A road leading to Vanderbilt University Medical Center is now named for a Black pioneer in cardiac surgery, instead of bearing the Confederacy-tied moniker of Dixie Place.
Officials in Nashville commemorated the name change to Vivien Thomas Way during an event Monday.
In a news release, the hospital said the switch resulted from current second-year Vanderbilt University School of Medicine students brainstorming with college mentors last summer about creating change amid the civil unrest nationwide over the death of George Floyd.
Medical school professor Walter Clair, a mentor and the vice chair for diversity and inclusion in the school s Department of Medicine, suggested the name change. He noted to students that the last stoplight he had to drive through before parking in a garage at work was on Dixie Place.
